The Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office arrested Larry Bowman on Feb. 7 for the shooting death of 33-year-old Larry Donell Thomas.
Bowman, 28, of Cleveland was charged with capital murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
He was taken before a judge for initial appearance hearing Monday and was denied bond.
Four other subjects have already been charged for the same crime, which occurred on Dec. 18.
They were were David Bland Jr., 23, Tavarius Murray, 27, Jamario Hodges, 25, and Leon Hughes, 26. All were from Cleveland.
All subjects were charged with capital murder, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit a crime.
All subjects were denied bond and are presently housed at the Bolivar County Regional Correctional Facility.
Thomas’ body was found alongside a ditch on Merigold-Drew Road with multiple gunshots wounds to the body.
