Mrs. Terri Crowe Norton

Mrs. Terri Crowe Norton, 65, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathon Speegle officiating. Interment will be in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery. Terri was born on July 12, 1953, to Harl and Thelma Crowe in Cleveland. On September 11, 1980, she married Chet Allen Norton in Cleveland. After retiring from Baxter where she worked for 40 years, Terri went to work at the Port of Rosedale and greatly enjoyed working there. She loved to watch her children play ball growing up and when the grandchildren came, she loved spending time with them just as much. Terri also enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and watching TN football.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Harl Custer Crowe and Thelma Tounzen Crowe; and niece, Lauren Elizabeth Norton. Terri is survived by her husband, Chet Norton of Cleveland; daughter, Brandie N. Garber (John) of Lafayette, LA; son, Allen Norton (Valerie) of Corinth; grandchildren, Brett Garber and Jace Garber of Lafayette, LA, and Jane Norton of Corinth; brother, Randy Crowe (Cathy) of Florida; and many beloved nieces and nephews.   Pallbearers will be Mark Norton, Sonny Smith, Robert Maxwell, Will Reynolds, Larry Harkins, and Bill Dodd. Honorary pallbearers will be Jarrett Free, Casey Manning, Donnie Rocconi, Butch James, Don Towles, and members of the Rosedale-Bolivar County Port Commission.
