Stay Connected with God

Galilee MB Church, Bolivar, will hold its Stay Connected with God program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Joe Mays will serve as the Master of Order, the Mount Calvary MB Church Choir will be the guest choir and the Rev. T.D. Wick of Christian Light MB Church of Anguilla will deliver the message. The Rev. Arthur Thomas is the pastor.

Installation Service

The Shelby Male Chorus will hold its annual installation service at 6 p.m. Sunday. This program will take place at the Shiloh MB Church, 1522 Camponova Street, Shelby. Various groups and choirs will be present.

Church Anniversary

Oakland Mount Olive MB Church, Drew, will hold its 115th church anniversary at the Goshen Event Center in Drew at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. John I. Taylor of Ruleville will be the guest speaker. The Elder Alfred Grim is the pastor.

Musical Fellowship

New St. Phillip MB Church, 515 Ruby Street, Cleveland, will hold a musical fellowship at 3 p.m. Sunday. Church choirs and singing groups are cordially invited to attend. The Rev. Larry King is the pastor.

Conference of Christian Education

The Combined Congress of Christian Education will be in session at 6 p.m. nightly Monday-Wednesday at St Paul MB Church, 401 Church Avenue, Cleveland. There will be classes offered in Synoptic Gospel, Christian Stewardship, Baptist Doctrine, Theology and History of Christianity, Spiritual Formation, Christian Evangelism, Discovering your Spiritual Gifts and Writing Techniques. Pastor Fredrick L. Ford, Sr. is the moderator and host pastor.

Pilgrim Rest MB Church, Shelby, will hold its Black History Program at 11 a.m. during morning worship. You are encouraged to wear African attire. The Rev. Vernell Smith, Jr. is the pastor.

The Education Department of New Kingdom will present its annual Black History Program at 11 a.m. Sunday. The church choir will render musical selections and the speaker will be Sister Lucy Seaberry.

St. Peter Church of God In Christ, 302 Cleveland Street, Shaw, will host its annual Black History program at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. The speaker will be Elder Nathan Harris Sr., of Clarksdale. Dinner will be served presenting: Grandma's Kitchen. Elder Harris is the pastor.

Rivers of Life Outreach Ministries, Mound Bayou, will be having a Love Day Celebration in honor of Pastor Pamela Fairman at 5 p.m. Sunday at The Next Level Event Center, 155 North Street, Cleveland. The speakers will be Overseer Andrew Magee, Jr. and Apostle Patricia Magee of Code Blue International Ministries, Gautier.

Black History Program

New Jerusalem MB Church, 619 Ferguson Avenue, Cleveland, will be celebrating Black History at 11 a.m. Sunday during morning worship service. Various members will perform a skit in honor of Harriet Tubman. The Rev. Andre Harris is the pastor.
