Church Anniversary

Mt. Zion MB Church, 416 Woodlawn, Shaw, will celebrate its 106th church anniversary at 2 p.m. Sunday. Dinner will be served.  The Rev. Herron Wilson will be the guest speaker.

Poplar Grove Church, Boyle, will hold a musician's love day celebration at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Choirs, soloists and groups are invited to participate.

Community Chapel Assembly of God Church, 1205 Robert D. Gray Avenue, Shelby, will hold a special service at 11 a.m. Sunday with special guest Men Teen Challenge from Jackson. The group will share their powerful testimonies of how God delivered them from drugs and alcohol.

Book Signing

Co-Pastor and Author Ruthie Hooper From Community Chapel Assembly of God Church in Shelby will hold a book signing from 10-3 p.m. Saturday at the Business Women expo at United Family Life Center in Cleveland. The book is titled, The Morning I Saw Heaven a Glimpse into God's Glory.

Dedication Service

Solomon Chapel AME Church, Cleveland, will hold its pews and parsonage dedicatory service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Archie R. Smith, Presiding Elder of the Greenville-Greenwood District will be the messenger.
