Tony and Montra Valle of Garland, TX, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Cassie Sheridan Valle of Garland, TX, to Bruce McCaleb Holder of Canton, TX, son of Bruce and Cristyn Holder of Cleveland.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pascual and Sylvia Valle of Garland, TX, and Tommy Jones of Sachse, TX, and the late Patsy Jones.
She is a graduate of Naaman Forest High School in Garland, TX, and is currently attending Dallas Christian College, majoring in elementary education and minoring in Christian education.
Cassie has achieved Dean’s List honors at DCC and in her spare time, she is very involved in volunteer work.
She attends Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX.
Cassie works with the afterschool program, Alpha Best, in Wylie, TX.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jim and Pat McCaleb of Cleveland and the late Wilbur and Sue Holder of Cleveland.
He is a graduate of Bayou Academy and Delta State University, where he received a BA degree in history. He also attended Memphis Theological Seminary and received his master’s degree in Christian ministry.
While attending DSU, Caleb was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He also attended the Wesley Foundation and served on the leadership team. He was a proud recipient of the Hugh Ellis Walker Scholarship.
Caleb is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, where he served as youth director for two years.
He is student ministries director at First United Methodist Church in Mabank, TX.
Wedding vows will be exchanged in a 5 p.m. ceremony on Friday, November 17, 2017, at Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne, TX.
A reception will follow and all friends and relatives are invited to attend.
