Cleveland Farmers Market opens Saturday

“Since we moved the (farmers) market to the downtown Cleveland Greenstrip, our market has grown significantly. Both vendor participation and customer attendance have doubled. We now have between 8-12 vendors set up each week and on peak days can see up to 500 customers,” said director Ryan Betz.

Waterlogged gym won’t stop graduation

The North Bolivar Consolidated School District Board of Trustees met Wednesday and Superintendent Maurice Smith relieved concerns about recent water damage to John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. During Sunday’s storm, a portion of the gym roof was destroyed due to wind and rain.
